Mold Design, Build and Engineering Services:
The basis for providing a quality product is the design. Our Design
Department employs full time Design Engineers using the most
advanced modeling software. Our Unigraphics CAD/CAM software
enables us to machine the details of the tool directly from the
design data. This not only cuts the lead time for supplying
production parts, but the potential for human error is also greatly
decreased. Acceptable file formats include SolidWorks, UGII,
Parasolids, and Iges files.
Within our Engineering Department, our professional staff of Design
Engineers provide you with the innovative ideas you need to ensure
your product's success. With our Unigraphics UGS CAD/CAM software,
the integrity of your part data is maintained throughout the entire
process. After creating a solid model of the mold, the cavity
detail is machined with the latest technology CNC milling and EDM
equipment. The molded part is then measured and compared to your
original part file with our Browne and Sharp CMM.
Our process engineers and technicians adhere to the International
Standard of Mold Making, SPE, and SPI guidelines. We are
ISO9001:2008 registered and practice scientific molding with
certified capabilities to use RJG or equivalent technologies. All
standards are correlated throughout our manufacturing and quality
systems at PTI.
We are full service plastic injection molding facility, providing
the highest quality of plastic injection molded parts ranging from
1 gram up to 7lb shot. Valencia Plastics has state of the art
equipment that allows us to hold very tight tolerances on plastic
parts. We also offer over-molding and insert molding (brass inserts
and steel). We have a variety of machines that enable us to handle
everything from single cavity custom parts to high cavitation
molds. There is no down time here with the advantage of having our
own mold shop in house we can repair or make engineering changes to
on existing mold in a timely mater.
